Since our founding Mustard Seed Peace Project has made great progress in our focus countries of Guatemala and Zambia. From purchasing land in the community of Virginia to building dormitories in a school Zambia much has been accomplished. Learn about and see images from each project here.
CURRENT PROJECTS
WATER FOR VIRGINIA
Over the past several years MSPP has been working to complete a well to provide a much needed source of clean drinking water for the community of Virginia in Guatemala. In 2021 we have been able to complete the preliminary testing and survey work needed and now we are ready to bring the project to completion.
LATRINES FOR SCHOOL
Las Mojarras is a community of approximately 550 people located 7 miles from the town of Playa Grande but the treacherous roads make the journey take at least an hour. In 2019 the community shared with MSPP representatives their need for latrines at the primary school. The once functioning latrines were no longer usable, forcing the children to go to the bathroom outdoors.
